Creating a warehouse

Go to Warehouses and click New warehouse. Enter a Name (required) and an optional Location (free text — a single field, not separate street/city/state inputs). Click Create Warehouse. An Active toggle appears once you're editing an existing warehouse.

Every sales order, purchase order, and transfer is tied to a warehouse — sales orders deduct from it, purchase orders receive into it, transfers move stock between two of them.

Warehouse scope

Roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions carry a warehouse scope setting — All warehouses, Assigned warehouse, or Own records only — alongside their module permissions. Set it when creating or editing a role.
