Getting Started PREVIEW
Sign in to RedSmart Operations
Sign in with the account your RedSmart administrator gave you. Enter your email and password, then select Sign in, or select Google or Apple. Google and Apple work only with an address that already has an Operations account; choose Share My Email when Apple asks, because a hidden Apple address is refused. If you don't have an account yet, select Request access on the sign-in screen. Select Show beside the password to check what you typed. To sign in without a password, select Email me a code, enter your email, and type the 6-digit code from the email. The code works for 10 minutes and allows 5 tries; if it expires, select Send a new code (you can ask for a new one every 30 seconds), or select Use your password instead to go back.
Before RSO checks your password or sends a code, the screen asks you to complete a short human check above the main button. It usually passes on its own; if it asks you to confirm, do so and try again. If you see "Please complete the check and try again", the check expired or did not finish, so complete it again.
The screen follows your device language in English or Español; choose the other language under the card and RSO remembers it on that device. The RedSmart Operations version appears under the card.
If you forgot your password, select Forgot password? beside the password field, enter your email, and select Send reset link; follow the link in the email to set a new password. RSO no longer offers Create account on the sign-in screen: if you do not have an account, select Request access to email your RedSmart administrator.
On a Preview build, a PREVIEW marker appears in the desktop sidebar and the mobile header so you can tell it apart from Production. To open RSO like an app on a phone or tablet, use your browser's Add to Home Screen option; it gets the RedSmart Operations icon.
1. Create your organization
After you sign in, click Create organization. Enter your organization name, choose your default currency (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, MXN, or CUP), and set your locale (English US/UK, Spanish Spain/Mexico, or French — controls date and number formatting). These can be changed later in Administration → Settings.
Creating an organization automatically seeds five starting roles — Admin, Manager, Sales Rep, Warehouse Staff, and Viewer — and makes you an Admin. See Administration for what each can do.
2. Add your warehouses
Go to Warehouses and click New Warehouse. Each warehouse needs just a name and an optional location. Inventory is tracked per product, per warehouse — you'll need at least one before you can receive stock or process orders.
3. Invite your team
Go to Administration → Team Members and click Invite member. Enter their email and choose a role. If the email doesn't match an existing account, RSO creates one automatically and emails a setup link valid for 48 hours. See Administration for role details.
4. The dashboard
The dashboard shows six KPI cards — Products, Warehouses, Customers, and Vendors (active counts), plus Stock Value (total inventory value at cost) and Low Stock (items at or below their reorder point). Each card links to its module. Below that, a Quick actions panel gives one-click shortcuts to add a product, view inventory, add a customer, or add a vendor.
5. Next steps
- Add your Products and set reorder points where it matters.
- Create your first Sales Order or Purchase Order.
- If you use RSA for accounting, connect it from Administration → Settings → Connected Apps to post orders straight to your books.
