Kits & Components

A kit is a product sold as a bundle of other products (its components), each with a fixed quantity. Kits don't carry their own stock — when a sales order line for a kit product is confirmed, RSO deducts the component quantities from the order's warehouse instead of the kit product itself. Cancelling a confirmed order that included a kit restores the component stock the same way.

Defining which products are kits and what their components are isn't available in the app UI yet — contact support if you need a kit set up in the meantime.
