What is RSO?

RSO (RedSmart Operations) is an inventory-focused ERP designed for operations teams. It covers the full operational cycle — from managing your product catalog and warehouses to processing sales and purchase orders, tracking stock movements, handling transfers between locations, and generating labels and shipment documentation.

RSO integrates with RSA (RedSmart Accounting) to keep your financial records in sync. Once a sales order is confirmed, you can post it to RSA as an invoice with one click (and purchase orders post as expenses the same way). When RSA records a payment, RSO marks the order paid — no double entry required.

Roles

The org creator is always an Admin — full access to every module, and Admin status can't be reassigned. Every other team member is assigned a custom role from Administration → Roles & Permissions: a role grants view/add/edit/delete access independently for each of 14 modules (Products, Inventory, Inventory Counts, Kits, Warehouses, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Transfers, Shipments, Customers, Vendors, Print Jobs, Members, Settings), plus a warehouse scope (all warehouses, one assigned warehouse, or own records only) that limits which warehouse's data the role can see. Create as many roles as you need — there's no fixed role list.
